Pure fifthsTunes each string a perfectly smooth fifth from A, the way you’d tune by ear with double stops. G sits about 4 cents lower and E 2 cents higher than the default.

Tuning tips

Tune A first, then D, G and E. Bow each string steadily for a second or two.
Most phones and laptops hear better a little away from the speaker grille. A quiet room helps the low G string.
Cross-tunings like AEAE and DDAD change which strings you retune. Pick one from the Tuning menu, or arrive from a tune page and it’s chosen for you.
Nothing is recorded or uploaded. The microphone switches off when you tap Stop or leave the page.
